Malikai found himself out paroling the tribe lands for most of the day, there was never anything to do during the winter months. There was no prey, no invaders, no nothing... it was incredibly barren and it left the male assassin quite bored, he was hungry for action.
The longer he walked, pulling his large paws though the snow, the more bored and tired he felt. There was obviously nothing out here, he should just turn around and head back to their den site...
However that thought was quickly broken up when the sound of paws crunching on snow sounded to his right. The lean male quickly snapped his head to the side, so fast, you could actually hear his neck pop. There, meeting his gaze, was an old golden brown wolf who had the scent of pack wolves all over him. His neutral expression turned into an angry scowl, his lips pulled back into a snarl. "Who do you think you are? Walking on our land? You don't belong here..."

Kane looked fearfully into the rogue wolf's eyes, he hadn't realize he had wandered onto their territory... these new borders were very confusing and he had forgotten what the tribe had taken. "Please don't hurt me, I'll just go, pretend I was never here!" He yelped and started to slowly back up

Malikai grinned, crooked yellow teeth showing past his lips. "Oh no, you're not going anywhere.." Just as it seemed the older pack wolf would run for it, Malikai lunged forward, the muscles in his hind legs propelling him forward, toward the golden brown wolf before him.
With a hard thud, his body rammed into the pack wolf's rib cage, knocking him to the ground. Malikai paused, looming over the other wolf, his fore paw extended forward and pressed into his rivals side, claws just barely making a mark.

Kane whimpered under the hold of the rogue "please let go!" he yelled loudly, trying to get away, kicking up snow. "I need to get back to my pack! I have an important role!" he whimpered.

The tribe wolf sneered down at the withering pack wolf, amused with how desperate the pitiful thing was. "You know I can't do that." He barked, leaning forward so he was muzzle to muzzle with the other male. Before lifting his head away, he let drool fall down on to the golden brown male's face. Malikai then began to press his heavy paw down on his rivals flank, feeling his claws began to pierce the skin and blood well at the starting wound.
Before the pack wolf had time to thrash again at the pain, Malikai leaned forward again in a quick movement and bite down hard on his neck. He was slightly confused why the other male wasn't fighting back... perhaps he was just too old to even try!

Kane struggled under his grip, feeling numb as he was bitten on the throat. He was too old and weak to fight off the younger, powerful male he just didnt have a chance. His mouth hung open as he began to see stars.

Malikai was growing bored with the pathetic fight this wolf was putting up, he should just end this now... The rogue suddenly and quickly bite down harder on Kane's throat, he could feel the gush of blood flow around his tongue as he pressed his jaw further into the pack wolf's neck, with the intent on finishing him off.
With a final, hard snap, he felt fur rip away from skin and the scent of blood filled his nose. He quickly let go of the other male's neck, spitting up red saliva as he backed away and tried to get the tainted blood out of his mouth.

Kane tried to wail, but couldn't, his voice box was surely long broken and all he felt was pain and numb, he couldn't see anymore either. He felt blood bubble at his throat as he tried to talk again, but quickly his lights were knocked out so he lay there motionlessness..... dead...

Malikai offered the crumpled, dead body a reserved glare. "Serves you right, pack wolf." He spat, blood stained saliva flew from his mouth as he spoke. The lean rogue turned, and headed back on course, leaving the snow behind him stained with murder. . End Topic . |
