Ryka jumped up onto the perch in the center of the den site and howled to call her pack together. Today a patient little pup would finally rank up.

Annora yawned and shook out her fur, it had grown thicker over the winter. She tilted her head to one side, confused at what was going on. Then it hit her. I'm gonna be a subordinate! She quickly fixed up her messy fur and padded over towards where everyone was gathering.
