Avikii turned to face the direction of the den site, looking at Lightning, he nodded his agreement. "Yes, enough has happened, we marked borders, got some prey, so there's nothing more to do..." He glanced at Cieko, who proudly held his hare, Avikii couldn't help but feel sympathy. He was never a subordinate in this pack, so he wouldn't ever know what it was like, how hard they tried to impress others. So, he shrugged off Cieko's little accident, passing the border, he still got the hare, and that's what mattered.

Swift followed close to the front, she wasn't interested in being remotely near Hediki at this point. She just wanted to escape his presence, even for a moment.
She stared down at the ground. She didn't know exactly what to do. She felt so small compared to him, especially after the battle, now more then ever. She may have managed to land a few good blows, but she was none the less weak and little.
All the way from pup-hood to adult-hood. She would be the weakest, she just felt it. She knew she wouldn't be able to bark and howl on and on about her strength that she 'inherited from her father, the Alpha' for long. It was certain she would just get her tail handed right back to her and all that she said would be proven wrong. She was all bark and no bite.
She just wished she could just be better then everyone else, she was the Alpha's daughter and she almost felt that it was expected of her.
Stop fooling around Swift. This is serious Swift. Do you have any dignity Swift? Act like an adult Swift. Have some poise Swift. Where's your pride Swift? Even if these things were not all said to her, she felt it was almost implied within the stares she received from every other surrounding wolf of the pack.
She felt like everyone expected her to be the definition of greatness just because her father was. She acted like it to the best she could, but if word got out about this little mishap and how she basically just lost that battle, she felt she would be reduced to nothing but the laughing stock of the pack.
Her tail flicked irritably off to the side as she struggled innerly with all the expectations she had felt for so long, weighing her down. She could feel everything she tried to act like she was, hoping that was enough to make her good enough, she could feel it all melt away because of that larger male... Hediki. She didn't know what to think of him. Perhaps he would make a better pack-mate then she would. If the pack could get rid of one of them, she would be the first to go...
Her ears laid pressed against her head. He was a formidable foe she admitted to herself, but would never reveal out loud. Her tail swished back and forth as she got intertwined with her endless thoughts.

Avikii continued to lead the group back to the den site, noticing Swift, his daughter, had come up beside him. He eyed her for a moment, noticing her expression, giving away her endless thought process. Of course, he hadn't a clue what she was mentally fretting about, so he stayed quite, and let her lead the way with him.

Hediki glanced forward, noticing Swift had taken up the front. He sighed, truly wishing they could've ended up as at least friends. Too late now, or so he assumed. The subordinate looked over at Cieko, who looked so gleeful at the catch of his hare, at least he had something to show for. Hediki just got caught threatening the alpha's daughter. He gulping, praying he wouldn't get punished for some odd reason.

Swift pushed her way around ferns, bushes, boulders and trees, doing her best to avoid gazes with anyone. She had no intention on speaking about what crossed her mind. She just wanted to return, get tended to and then eat and rest.

Lightning followed in the rear, looking around and keeping a sharp eye out in case any rouges saw them and decided to follow them for any reason. His tail flicked back and forth, his ears perked and alert.

Ceiko looked around through narrowed eyes as he tried to see through the dark parts of their trails.

The group now neared the den site, Avikii bounded up the slopes, and glanced behind him to make sure the others easily followed.

Hediki, seeing that they were almost back at the site, pushed ahead. He didn't want to be behind the others when they entered camp. So he took whatever strength he had left and pushed past the others, careful of where he put his paws. He padded a little further and found himse;f on the flat ground of the den site.

Swift heard unfamiliar paw-steps picking up pace. They were not the familiar heavy paw-steps of Lightning nor Ceiko. Both of which were familiar because Ceiko always visited with her and they talked often, and Lightning was her father's Beta. She assumed they were Hediki's. She didn't want to be anywhere within range of the male, so she picked up pace as well as she pushed her way through camp. She took a glance around, glad to FINALLY be back.

Ceiko entered camp, soon after the others. He went to set his hare on the pile, he still continued to wonder why Avikii had been so upset with him, a bit disappointed in himself despite the smile on his face.

Lightning was the last wolf to enter camp. He glanced around between the trees and bushes, scenting the air. He was double checking that they weren't followed. It was unlikely but still possible. Once he was certain everything was clear, he entered the camp.
