Leafa was curled up on the edge of camp, trying to keep warm. A cold wind was blowing by. She didn't want to go anywhere since she was used to the cold weather- well sorta. She tucked her snout under her tail. When her side started aching, she moved her tail and draped it over the bandaged area. Leafa let out a small sigh.

Soba noticed Leafa laying alone in a corner of the den site, he tilted his head, curious as to why she was alone. He made his way over to her, trying his best to ignore the cold snow that danced along his paws.

Avikii awoke that morning to the sensation of a frost-filled breeze weaving into his den, he shivered slightly, turning over and opening his eyes, blinking them a few times to try and get the sleep out of them. He quickly realized that the reason the cool draft was noticeable because he had been facing the entrance of the den. In quick time he laid his optics upon Leafa and Soba. He wondered why soba had been so interested in Leafa lately, but shrugged it off as he began to stretch.
The alpha pushed his way out of the den and into the cold air, feeling the snow seep up into his paw pads. He cringed.

Leafa let out a giggle at his comment.
"That's not what I meant, silly," Leafa said with a flirtatious tone. Leafa sat up slowly, snow trickling off her golden fur. Leafa looked up and caught sight of Avikii.

Avikii caught Leafa's eye for a moment, casting her a small wink, seeing that she had captured Soba in a lovable trance. He stopped in his tracks and sat down, forgetting there was cold snow under him. He let out a small growl, narrowing his eyes at the cool sensation. Boy did he hate the colder weather, that was obvious.

Avikii watched, his own grin growing over his muzzle. He liked seeing the newer subordinate, Leafa, bond with an older wolf, Soba. He glanced down though, at his paws. His stomach fluttered with something. Jealousy? No, that can't be. He thought in dismay.

Avikii watched as the two got closer, that feeling of happiness for Soba slowly evaporating. He debated on getting up and breaking the two apart, but thought better of it and stayed put.

Finally, Avikii couldn't take it. He got to his paws, and forced himself to walk over calmly. As he drew nearer, he nodded in greeting. "Leafa, Soba, I see you two are getting along well." He said, voice stiff.
