A Little Drizzle (OPEN) [Finished]

302 was making his way back to the den site when a familiar scent caught his nose, well not too familiar, but it smelt of Canyon Pack. He slowed down, wondering if it was just Avikii or Lightning, he didn't remember any other wolves following them down into the main territory. He came to a complete stop now, growing curious as to who had been listening in to what the alpha and his friend had to say to him and Arrow. The Casanova sniffed the air again, he knew this scent, he had smelt it before, definitely a Canyon Pack wolf, but who? He should know, he knew a lot of the wolves within his pack.

Then it hit him.

The scent he had caught a whiff of was in fact that new female wolf, who appeared to be just as jet black as him. Now that he knew who this wolf was, he just had to find her, that would prove difficult with the recent rains. The dark wolf began to pad forwards again, but this time taking in more of his surroundings. There she was. Snooping around in the scattered shrubbery, but for what? He hadn't a clue, but he best warn her to get back to camp. He made his way over to her, not realizing how quiet his paw steps were.

"Hey, Okami is it?" He started, making sure he had gotten her attention. "You might want to stop searching for whatever it is you're looking for and head back to camp, Avikii and Lightning are kinda on edge with me and Arrow, I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for anything." He held her gaze, slender ears perked for a reaction.

The Casanova jumped at her sudden hostility, but quickly recovered himself as she did as well. "Its fine really," 302 looked her up and down, scanning her expression. "I just don't want you to get caught up in anything that could put you in a bad place... And I know you weren't trying to snoop or anything, like in a troublesome way." His ears perked at her second to last statement, about him accused of doing wrong. His ears flattened at the thought again, of him being accused for helping Arrow escape. How dare they trial my loyalty, I guess, well, I did appear awfully close with her, a Bison Pack wolf, but what can I say for myself? I'm a Casanova...

His thoughts fizzed back to reality as he heard her begin to pad away. Did I do something wrong? That rarely happened. Perhaps she was just a little awkward. Since they were headed to the same place he quickly caught up with her, slowing by her side, but said nothing.

302 kept pace with her easily, his nimble long legs allowed him to quickly gain ground. He questioned her mentally as to why she was speeding up, but didn't mind too much, it was nice to focus on stretching out his legs in a nice trot.

He flinched at her sudden stop, pausing beside her, the subordinates word rang in his ears. Wasn't Elpis one of the pups? He didn't pay much attention to the pups, but at least new their names. "What about her?" He thought for a moment, unsure why Okami had blurted the pups name. He assumed the pup was safe back at camp, was Okami worried for the pup being alone back there?

302 looked at her for a moment, what she said was just processing through his brain. When he finally realized what she was talking about, he considered her words. The Casanova was already in trouble, he wasn't sure what he was in trouble for, but he was. He blinked, realizing he was blankly staring at her.

"I doubt you'll get in trouble, why did you follow along anyway? Were you told to follow?" He glanced behind him for a split second, wondering when Avikii, Lightning and Arrow would make their way back to the den site. "Because if you were welcomed to follow, it would be very unlikely for you to be in trouble. Go find Elpis, bring her back to camp before she gets in trouble for following along." With that the dark wolf turned tail, and began to quickly make his way back towards the den site.

Kaiser woke up, perking her ears at the wolves coming into the camp. Standing up, she trotted out of the den and over to Avikii. " Hello. And what happened?" She asked, tilting her head to the side a bit.

Lightning had nodded to Avikii in agreement, he had to get over it, the fact that Arrow was not the same pup he once knew. She never would be the same again. She was just Arrow, the Bison Pack Prisoner. He shook his pelt out and snatched her up by her scruff dragging her to her paws. She stood up but continued to trip and fall over her own paws, branches and stones. The she wolf seemed almost more blind than broken herself. Something told him that Arrow just wanted to be home, but she still liked the cassanova. To him it just seemed obvious, maybe it was just because he knew what it felt to feel heartbreak, or maybe it was because through thick and thin, they were still siblings. Whether she would ever remember or not. His eyes remained cold, his solid expression revealing no emotions as he took the shortest route shoving and pushing Arrow quickly back to the camp.

Arrow felt absolutely terrible. What had she done? She gave up everything ever good just to go back to a place where she couldnt be any more respected then the Canyon camp. Her heart ached, her ears drooped and her eyes were glossed over, staring into the nothingness ahead of her. 'What have i done? What had I done? What was I thinking...?' She closed her eyes as her body rolled into the Canyon camp clearing, a harsh shove by Lightning, making her chin hit the ground and her teeth click together. She didnt bother to move, she figured it may just make her situation worse.

Lightning glanced around the camp for 302 and then back over his shoulder to see if Avikii had ended up anywhere nearby.

Elpis began to slow down as she neared camp. She took deep breaths to recover from the run. Just keep going and it will be like nothing happened. Just forget you saw anything. She thought, but she knew she wouldn't be able to forget seeing the other wolf in a gory display on the ground, along with the talk of a fight. She needed to get it out of her system to tell at least one other, but the matter of whom was the big question. 

As she closed in on the camp entrance she lowered her head. Her paws trembled with each step made closer towards the nursery. Elpis wanted nothing more than to lay beside Broken at that moment and try to sleep her worries away.
